Ayoob said that a we could equate, in home defense, that a shotgun could be considered as artillery, firing from a fixed position into a known and plotted field of fire whereas a pistol could be considered as infantry. I think I concur.
I've always been averse to trading mobility for other tactical considerations. So my primary is a .45acp with night sights and tac light with pressure switch, holding 17+1 and two spare 17 rd mags.
I ain't even admitting I have a gun in my house if I actually had one especially after the boating accident.
I don't know but it wouldn't bother me to leave it on there, especially if I got a discount because of it.
I would make up some kinda story that would make all my buddies jealous.
