Gotta love capitalism. I’d do the same thing if I had that musical talent. Reminds me of the Beatles in the 60’s, or Elvis-in terms of crazy fans paying anything to see their music idols.

IF there is a moron willing to pay. I'm just not that much of a fan of ANYBODY.

Mom and Dad were in Las Vegas, circa 1970, there abouts. There was a long line of people on the sidewalk. Mom asked a woman what was going on? She says they are in line for Sammy Davis Jr tickets, only $125. Mom laughs, "are you crazy?" They walked across the street and went to see Mel Tillis and Roy Clark for $5, including 2 drinks each.

We have been to several concerts, most expensive was $50 for KISS in OKC. $40 for George Strait, Tim McGraw, Mark Chestnut, Asleep at the Wheel and Tracy Lawrence in Rice Stadium. Started at noon and ended at midnight.

To each his own.

Same idiots paying $600 are griping about minimum wage, working at McD's and looking for goobermint handouts.

Taytay does deserves props for taking care of the road crew, though. They earn it.

so we have to like her just cause she's successful? we can't have our own opinion and complain about her because you think it's wrong? last i knew we are still free to decide who we like and don't like and tell others what we think

I started this thread, not complaining but asking. I don't understand why she is so successful and am in no way bashing her. I honestly am fascinated by her success and just don't understand what gives her the "it" factor.

I remember the older folks asked the same thing about the Beatles & Stones when I was a kid in the 60’s. “Who can listen to that music?? The crazy young girls screaming at them have lost their minds!”
So, for whatever reason she has a big following as well. It is what it is.
