Hey Been,

There are so many things to tell and discuss with you but life is a learning process.

I forgot to add to my first post.

Get as many certifications as you can...you never know what the future may offer amd if you're prepared YOU can get the job...either keep it, quit, or advance with it.

Example: I don't use it but I have a Class A CDL..doubles, triples, tankers, and hazmat.

I am 40 hour Hazwoper certified...I use it all the time. I am smoke school certified, wetlands certified, I'm teacher certified in Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma elementary, middle and high school...will I teach...who knows (yes one of my degrees was in education)

A person may have experience but what I've seen along life's travels is the person who has the certificate usually bumps the person who has only the experience. Trust me, I've had guys with waaay more experience than me...train me to be a supervisor..just because I had some experience but education/certification to back it up.

Learn as much as you can on any and everything...who knows where it will take you.

I wish you the best!!!

Make sure that you major in a marketable skill such as engineering, accounting or nursing. Because of the feminization and homosexualization of the military, I would not recommend enlisting at this time.

"The HARDEST part of my life is over! Its all up hill from here!"

Youre kind of correct. Once youre out on your own its freedom city and funfunfun. According to my kids having someone tell you what to do all the time sucks (but watch out, when and if you get married- its almost like living back home with your mother again...). For sure get a good education so you can get a good job. You have to be able to pay for those trips down to Cabo or wherever you'lll be going all the time. Paying bills and saving for retirement/investments is the sensible and serious side of life, but it doesnt have to be all work and no play. Working hard is just what you have to do so you can afford to enjoy your time off.
