Enrique Acevedo, who is a Mexican univision News Anchor says that Mexico's four Presidential candidates want Mexico to help migrants cross into the US. They are pledging to violate American Immigration laws.
There you have it. The truth is finally out. Mexico doesn't give squat about their citizens, or their own economy/Country.

Mexico has some nice beaches. How about a group of us (200 or 300 or 10,000) get together and take a trip down to live on the beach a while. Cancun or Cozumel might turn into a Scancuray City for a Couple of months or so and we can see if we would like to stay longer? Yep, US should get involved in the Mexican elections. Are any candidates open for reciprocity visits or handgun rights?

We were regulars to Mexican beaches for many, many years. No more.
Between the Cartel’s wanting to kill you, and the shysters trying to rip you off, and I’m including Mexican LEO in the shake down artist category, we will never return unless drastic changes are made.
The US state department has been issuing travel alerts for some of the most popular beach resort areas.

My last company had a plant in Juarez. The husband of the HR lady was a dentist. He was kidnapped and they wanted a ransom of $300,000. Our company agreed to pay a down payment of $10,000, and the balance after he was released. We immediately rushed them out of the country and never paid another cent. That may be an indication of how little thought they put into their plans. On the other hand, $10,000 might be the going rate for a kidnapping in Juarez.

Since the cartels control most of the country, I’ve often wondered how much is paid to the cartels to leave the resorts and tourists alone to enjoy their vacations.

Their control is as of recent. Its a turf war every since the big dog (forget his name) was captured.
40% of MX is now controlled by cartels
