At least you are honest about it. I have never complained about receiving a ticket if I broken the law. If a police officer thinks he or she is going step on my rights while performing the stop they will be called out. I have no problem talking about the weather, ammo prices or how great Trump is doing but I will not be fished. That's how I roll. In most cases everything you need to know is on the license and insurance paperwork. I don't think declining to answer where I'm going, where am I coming from and what I had for dinner is being a *******. Do the job you were trained and hired to do and you will never have any problems out of me. Walk up to my window and try and intimidate/bs me into answering a bunch of questions not related to the violation it will go south in a hurry.
Drive down I-44 in a rental car with out of state plates when OKCSO is sitting at the end of the turnpike. See how things go when they follow you for miles then pull you over when you didnt use your turn signal "long enough". Been there done that, got the T shirt.

A police officer is trained to gather facts and information. That's part of the job. So asking you questions about where you're going or where you've been is just part of the fact gathering process. Further it is not a violation of your right for the officer to ask those questions. Don't know where you got the idea that he can't ask you that stuff. He could ask you what you had for breakfast that day if he wanted and he wouldn't be violating your rights. Just like your right to not answer isn't a violation of his rights.
Geez, since you have such an impressive knowledge of the law stop by your local police department and apply for the job. Then you can show them all the right way to be a cop!
The biggest problem I see is that everyone is so worried that their rights are going to be trampled on that they see a violation of those rights before it becomes a violation and it flips the ******* switch. There is a big difference is saying things in a nice, relaxed way verses "NO! YOU MAY NOT HAVE MY ID! I KNOW MY RIGHTS!" which is how I see a lot of people act. Its the same thing with showing your receipt when asked as your leaving wal-mart. "NO! ITS MY PROPERTY! YOU CAN'T ASK FOR THAT!" For crap sake people, get a life. Do you legally have to? No. Does it hurt you or incriminate you? If you've done nothing wrong, no. If you feel that doing that means you're welcoming full infringement of all your rights, you have issues.
If you have to go to YouTube videos to find "evidence" of LEO wrongdoing, you are really grasping at straws. Refusing to answer simple questions sounds very similar to the actions of those on the left getting triggered by words from a conservative.

I love the word "paranoid" coming from people that believe in carry firearms 24/7. Carrying a firearm is somehow prudent, yet protecting yourself in police interactions are not. Seems everyone will defend their 2nd Amendment rights...the other not so much. My LEO relatives are the ones that advised video taping AND if the police try to violate your civil rights having a supervisor on scene. The 1st and 4th Amendment are just as important as our 2nd Amendment. Like I said before if you don't want to watch YouTube videos, watch Live PD. Constant 4th Amendment violations on there.

Simple solution, dont do anything while driving to get pulled over and you wont have anything to worry about.
