I know why they waited so long to draw in years past after the entry date to select the winners as they were all on paper.
Its on computer now. They should draw a week after closing entry's.

They still dry run the draw 3-5 times now that it's all online. To make sure there aren't any bugs from year to year. I would agree. Give the results three weeks a later or so or a month like most western states do now.
