2014 ODWC Controlled Hunts

i hunted at McAlester for 3 years on the crossbow hunt. it was at a time of the year that it was too warm to see many deer. I did enjoy seeing all of the deer while driving out and in again. I never harvested a deer. i only shot at 1 doe. then a few years ago, I applied for a shotgun hunt for does. It was cold and dreary. Deer were every where. I saw why people got excited about this hunt.

i again tried for a good old meat hunt does taste better.,

I have fits of depression since the 70's, when I don't get drawn for the elk hunt.
