This was shot using birdshot, not bump firing but using a rapid finger method. First and last time I did it, just wanted to see if I could.

Best as I can tell, its 10 rds in less than a second out of a semi auto.

Hate the pistol grip only shotty. Despise, revile, detest, and generally don't like it. Only use I can see is for very close quarters (restricted movement for shooter--tight cab for example).

Uncomfortable to shoot (Hogue makes most comfortable ones) hard to aim, and no real advantage over a stock I can see. Technique for absorbing recoil makes second shot slower than stock equipped gun. and in close quarters doesn't work. Stiff wrist threatens long term injury. Hate 'em. CB

this one I got from academy it is the 18" model
I have the factory stock and 100 rounds that i may go through this weekend and see just how much advantage I think the stock would give me! It'll be fun no matter what I decide.

I had two identical ones, and now my remaining 18" maverick has the stock stock. After seeing this post, I started looking and I definitely want one of those ATI collapsible stocks.....

I have had shotguns all of my life, and after getting one with a pistol grip, I cant see how I put up with the regular ones. Everyone is different though.
