In 1968 I could listen to KOMA on my car radio late at night in South California.Pretty interesting. I can remember hearing it loud and clear in the 70's day or night in Bartlesville.

When a kid, we had these little transistor radio's that only required clipping on to the metal part of a lamp. WLS in Chicago and KOMA were the only two stations that those radio's would pick up.WLS....

That's what my parents on the radio 99% of time. Billy Parker's voice still etched into my brain lol.KVOO-AM out of Tulsa was a "truckers station." They gave highway reports from all over the country. They could be heard from coast to coast and from Canada to Mexico.
