This is the grips that made me buy my 1911 got the grips before the gun. have had them on my daily carry for nearly 10 years.

I have always loved the 1911 but I don't own one yet. But once I saw that you can get petrified Mastadon Ivory grips for them, there is no way in hell I am not picking one up. I don't care if it's a Rock Island Armory or a Norinco. Actually, the Norinco is a very well-made clone and would totally kick ass with some Mastadon grips.

I own a RIA in 9mm. It has not had any issues at all. Some on here keep trying to talk me out of it.
