Any interest in an AK build party?

Gonna help a guy build a kit here in a cpl weeks, and just as easy to build a cpl if anyone is interested. Have a nice size barn, all the tools needed. Let me know if anyone wants too.

How much to part kits cost?

$300-400 depending on what kind u want, u could build entire rifle for around $400, counting rivets, receiver and kit.

Any ideas on where to buy the kits?

akbuilder has kits with barrels or u can try sum other places, akfiles an akforum usually has some listed in classifieds. Only about 60 miles takes about 1 hour fron okc, seems longer but about same as driving from norman to edmond.

What day are you planning on doing it? A friend and I are both wanting an AK, and it seems like building it would be the cheapest way to go...

Any certain parts kit that you'd recommend? Whats the best place to source a receiver? Do you have the jig to bend the flat plate receivers? Or do you generally buy the pre bent?
