Well, I’m actually on my way back, anyway. While I’m waiting here in the Portland, Maine airport, I thought I could kill some time and start sharing some pics and stuff. I spent a great week of sailing aboard the Stephen Taber, (www.stephentaber.com) with a couple of days in Portland and Rockland on each end. The Taber is a beautiful old Schooner, built in 1871 as a cargo vessel. Of course, she has been through a bunch of refits and is now a passenger ship. She runs a crew of 5, plus an intern, and is set up for 22 guests. There were only 12 people (guests) on board for this trip so we had plenty of room on deck. I have a lot of pics and stories, and I will start off by saying it was everything the website and brochures say it is, and more. Let me just post some pics, some with comments, for now.
