Gas plant operator and sometimes mechanic and electrician helper in the field. So in oil, walk on gravel, climb in pipe racks in the process ect

But sometimes a lot of this if everything running good feet can be propped up for hours on end lol

Sounds like you'll get about as dirty as I do. I'm a frac engineer. I've worn the same pair of these for almost 3 years, and do walk in some nasty chems a couple of times a week. Love them, almost like wearing tennis shoes. Can probably find some at a police supply store in OKC.

Try Ace Hardware or. true Value Lumber for Redwings.

I just bought a new pair in Carlsbad. I used to buy the Goretex Rockies, but I can't find them anymore. Redwing is making a boot that looks just like them, but they aren't quite as soft (IMO).
I used to catch the Rockies on sale at Teners for about $100. The Redwings set me back $170 but I bought them at a western wear store. That's what happens when put off buying them until it is an absolute necessity. I still didn't feel bad about the price.

been buying boots here for close to 30 yrs., back when he was in the small store further west in the same shopping center
always get good service and most red wings can be resoled for about 1/3~1/2 the cost of new boots
