I shot a couple last year and one was still sporting a good pelt. the other I blew in 1/2.
I skinned it thinking I would tan the pelt.. but after looking at the light colored meat i had to cook some up right there.
Very tasty..Wife thinks it tastes like wild turkey meat.
I cut the turkey and cat into small strips like chicken fingers and bread and fry it.

I will eat all I kill and care less about the pelt.
