I went the EPC route after finding a new complete lower for (what was then) cheap at an OKC gun show last summer. I didn't skimp, but I do consider it a semi-budget build when compared to something like a GMR 15. Total weight without a magazine is only 5.5 lbs. Here's my parts used and prices paid:

Aero EPC complete lower - $225
Aero EPC blem upper - $100
Hiperfire Eclipse Trigger - $260
Taccom Super Feed 16" ULW Barrel - $175
Taccom Extreme Short Stroke Bolt - $200
Taccom 14" G10 Ultralight Handguard - $80
Leupold Deltapoint Pro - $325
Samson QD DPP mount - $110
Radian Raptor charging handle - received in trade
Magpul SL stock - $57
Magpul K2+ grip - $25
Ferro Concepts sling - $39
Ferro Concepts picatinny sling mount - $30
Ferro Concepts 1" QD sling swivels - $22

I also have been looking at these. This looks like a good deal compared to others I have found.

GRAND POWER STRIBOG 9MM PISTOL WITH SB FOLDING BRACE, BLACK - SP9A1-SB $699.99

I’d get the a3 version myself. Costs more but roller delayed.

I have had a couple of the PSA AR-9 that take Glock magazines. They weren't too bad on price a few years ago. I'm still waiting to find a Ruger PC40 that's actually in stock.
