Well since last years ML buck wasn't much to brag about, I decided to bury the head and see how it turned out. Pulled it up today and power washed it off, to be honest It looked much better than I thought it would. Oklahoma red dirt put a little stain on it but I kinda like it, may put a clear coat on it and toss it on the wall in the garage.

You can use plain jane drugstore peroxide to lighten it up, but from my experience, it won’t “whiten” it like a boiled head. If you decide to peroxide it, submerge or use a brush to cover the whole skull, and then sit it out in the sun for a day or two. Try to keep the peroxide off the bases.
