I probably shoulda bought the last 1911 deal I passed on a week ago.

It was an American Classic Commander, imported by a company called MetroArms...

This little feller had all the bells and whistles (slotted hammer, speed trigger, beavertail grip safety, ext. thumb safety, ext. slide stop, ext. mag release, Novak style dovetailed sights and GI style plug and spring) for right around four bills! :faint:

It's built on the series 70 style inards and felt like a dream in my hand.

But...I bought a Kahr CW45 instead. :grumble:

I reckon I'm just a striker fired kinda guy. :rolleyes2

Gorgeous Remington Jakerz! :thumb:

Love the 1911. Hopefully this year will spend more time with them. My first was the Metro Arms American Classic II but traded it after buying a couple of Dan Wessons. Wouldn't hesitate to buy another though.
