My wife had a 2013 Hyundai Sonata V6 that we purchased new and had 405,000 miles on it when one of our daughters borrowed it for a day and totaled it.We've been buying Hyundai's now for a while & my wife and one of my daughters drive them, the other a Toyota. I think for the money you can't buy a better car than a Hyundai
I had just put new brakes, rotors, timing belt, plugs, water pump, and valve cover gaskets and few other minor maintenance items a few days before. My wife drove it as a daily driver to keep miles off the Subaru Outback. We were, for the fun of it, seeing if she could get 500,000 miles out of the car. I do believe we could have if the daughter had not totaled the car. Fortunately our daughter was not hurt in the one car accident.
The only complaints I had about the car were the seats were uncomfortable and the road noise.
At 405,000 miles it still did not burn oil between oil changes.
The Sonata was not a luxury car by any means, but functional and dependable.
