Good move on your part!
I started a project where every gun I own is either multi caliber or different ammo type capable.
Glock 33 is 357,40,9mm
AR 5.56, .22LR, 300 Blackout, 7.62x39 and 350 Legend, might get a 450 upper next
Thompson Center Encore I have in 300mag and 308 and trying to find a .243 barrel,
and my Mossberg 835 will shoot everything from Aguilla mini shells to 3 1/2 goose & turkey loads and correct choke tubes and has a fully rifled 24" slug barrel too.
My Rossi 45 Colt Lever will shoot single shot, cut down 410 shells, 45 Russian & Schofield and functions excellent with regular and heavy 45Colt and I have a hoglèg Ruger Bisley in 45 Colt too.
1911 in 45acp ànd looking for a good deal on a .22LR slide assembly
I figure vèsatility is a good investment in uncertain times

You can do the same thing with a SIG P320 or P250--and you don't have to get special barrels or disassemble the slide each time you change calibers. Plus, with different grip modules, you can have any size from a subcompact to a compact, carry (compact slide with full size magazines) or full size--and the magazines will all fit in the smaller sized grip modules.
