Hmmm ... Look what I found. Interesting article on shelf life of FD/DH foods ...

:rollingla ... You know not what you ask ... :D

A good garden planner:

Some good all-around information sites:

http://foodstoragemadeeasy.net/

http://familysurvivors.com/lds-food-storage.htm#begin-lds-food-storage-lds (This guy's gonna try to sell you everything under the sun, but he also shares a TON of good information. Pick and choose ... If he has something you want for sale, be sure and check prices elsewhere -- just to make sure you are getting the best deal.)

http://beprepared.com/company/food-storage-analyzer Emergency Essential's food storage analyzer. Some folks are paranoid -- think the .gov is tracking their food storage through this analyzer ... :rolleyes2 You don't have to save your info, but it is an excellent way to see where you have nutritional holes. One note: err on the side of caution with their calculations as to how much you have put back. Some of their servings sizes seem a bit dicey to me (like too small -- especially for someone doing manual labor). You'd rather find out you put back a little too much, than a little too little, right?

Some other forums: (Be forewarned -- some of these forums are more like ARFCOM than OSA ... But, still, there is a TON of good information out there ... Again you have to pick and choose ...)
