Really wild and vicious critters at Seven Falls in Colorado Springs. This guy was trying to get pictures of them with his cell phone, so I took advantage of his initiative.

One last bite and he was gone.....

.....he wasn't going to tolerate being petted. Look at the size of that last bite.

This a leopard gecko? I have a Crested at the house. Very cool little pets that are easy to care for.

I have no idea. I caught him and let him go outside my house last summer. I did catch him in a 30th anniversary Oktoberfest pitcher.

Sunset photos from Colorado and Kansas areas.

The above two pictures were taken at Eleven Mile State Park, which is West of Colorado Springs.

That one was taken somewhere in the area of the Blue Lake and Bear Lake campgrounds, which are south and west of Cuchara, Colorado.

When the wife's sister and her husband lived in Kansas, I caught a sunset and a cat up a tiny tree.

Just about anywhere in Colorado is great. South of Blue and Bear Lake campgrounds is North Lake. Just about a 1/2 to 3/4 mile south of North Lake is a turnoff up to Purgatoire River Campground. We've camped in there since 1976 in campers and tents. Now, we have a camper that is "almost" too big as there are only the meadow and maybe one developed campsite capable of a 38 1/2 foot fifth wheel. Purgatoire is about 3 miles or so off of Highway 12 and to the west. Developed campsites but no hookups. Water is available in the Purgatoire River or they have a hand operated pump. It is off the road, lots of trees, and the sound of the Purgatoire running so it is a great campground.

Great pics. My in-laws used to summer from April-September north of Durango in a praire tan F-250 and a 38' Collins fifth-wheel. Your pics bring back a lot of good memories.
