Took my dad and cousin-in-law out today and had a great time. Benchrest and Pistols at the plinking range.

If you're standing on the range, right side or east. I've never shot closer than the 300M berm on that range.

200, 300, 385 and 500 meters.

Silhouette is in meters. I was told it was the correct distance for black powder.

Now the Highpower is in yards

Not at all what I was picturing but still sounds like fun. I bet some of those guys can get pretty accurate with the right caliber and hand loads.

3-gun might be closer to what you had in mind for "tactical" AR matches. They run every other month over on the Action Pistol side at OKCGC.

Yeah, I was thinking closer to 3-Gun with just an AR as well as some obstacles. Kind of like a mini run n gun type thing.

Just FYI.. the silhouette range is closed during the weekdays until March 10th
