Old 870 Wingmaster tune-up

I've acquired a 30+ year old Remington 870 Wingmaster. It hasn't been fired in roughly 20 years. Luckily, it's been kept in a good case all those years, so it's still relatively clean, just dry.

The forend and bolt are pretty loose, which concerns me. If you hold the gun with the barrel pointing straight up and give it a shake, the bolt disengages and slides back about 1/4 of an inch.

Yes, it does.

Mine does that too. Just means it's good and slick like they used to be.

It's busted beyond any repair. I'll take it off your hands, so you won't have to worry.

If you mean after it is fired or with the release button pushed it is normal for good broke-in 870's.
