Prayer request for my granddaughter!

My 7 year old granddaughter is having surgery tomorrow in OKC to have her hip rebuilt for the first time with 3-4 more to come in her future, She will be in a body cast from her kness up to her chest for 2 months, Then she will be on a walker for 4-6 months afterwards. (She is watching me type this and wanted to put in the Soldier emoticon)! She is very active and this will really suck for her to be down that long. Please pray for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. Thanks and GOD Bless you all!

Prayers from me as well. We have a niece who's youngest daughter will be having similar surgery in May. In her case, they have to "break" the hips and then rebuild. Body cast for her most of the summer too.
