How does being a member of a political organization make the range safer? Just having a life membership in the NRA doesn't have anything to do with whether you have actually fired a gun ever in your life, or whether you are capable of safe firearm handling. The one is not a function of the other.
Contrary to what some believe the NRA is not solely a political organization.
that is just one "SMALL" part of the NRA.
A bigger part is providing training, range developement and in this case, range insurance.
By being a 100% NRA membership indoor range, our insurance costs are cut.
They are also cut by the fact we are not open to the general public. members only.
Makes sense to me.
Then why not call it The Tulsa NRA Shooting Range? Since only NRA members are allowed to shoot there...

Seriously, why bash Red Castle? They have the cheapest indoor range anywhere in the state and it's that way in part because of the NRA. ... and that's a bad thing why?

Its a good thing he has his own land to shoot on.
Made it by the indoor range last weekend, and it wasn't too bad. I just hope they can get some other stuff worked out to make it better for everyone.
Members that bring a guest costs $10 for the guest. They have to share a lane..... No way would that be worth it, they should have their own lane for $10. The lanes are a bit cramped as it is.
Also you should look into allowing 9mm and .45 caliber rifles to be fired. No possible way for either of those to go over 2,000 fps. Especially when shooting subsonic.
