Wrestling is a pretty good sport for individual growth.Lol. Nobody cares about wrestling either... except OSU fans.
Yes, its kind of a team sport, but what wrestling teaches is the individual has to be responsible for wins or losses. There is no team to back one up on a bad day making a bad move. It's all on the individual to win or lose depending on the wrestlers dedication to the sport for their particular match against one person.
If the individuals score enough points the "team" wins.
I spent years taking my kids to practices and staying with them during training and tournaments. Keep em training and they won't be selling drugs and getting in trouble.
Oldest son has taken that training into a business teaching martial arts in the DFW area as a side job.
Posted the video of him putting the ex world champion in his class to sleep in the past on OSA if anyone wants to search it.
Team sports like fooball and black basket rely only on the team to win. Have a bad day, and the team still can get a win.
