I'm pretty sure most lawyers work these cases on a contingency basis. If you get SSD there will be a back settlement and the attorney takes part of it. If you don't get it, you owe nothing.
He said it he lost it was nothing, if they won then they got 20% to his back pay.Any idea what a lawyer fee is for this?
So sooner than later is better? SSD pays from the time I was first unemployed? He said it he lost it was nothing, if they won then they got 20% to his back pay.
you cannot own anything!! a friend who's son had a permanent wreck injury said thay had to sell everything he owned and drain his savings etc.we were going to do that for sis-in-law but they had so much BS we shitcanned the idea. Read the rules before starting. If your penniless it might be OK.
I was told they have changed the laws on this. Used to you couldnt show any income (W-4) for 2 full years. No more according to what I was told. And what difference does it make what I own? That make 0 sense to me.you cannot own anything!! a friend who's son had a permanent wreck injury said thay had to sell everything he owned and drain his savings etc.

I was told, with new recent changes, that some have been approved in a month or less?Unless the guidelines have changed the lawyers fee is $5000, which will be taken from your lump sum payment from SSA when you are approved. Most cases are resolved in 2 1/2 to 3 years.
