Last thanksgiving a lady friend and I made a big lasagna and took over to moms so it didn't feel like thanksgiving at all but mom wasn't alone and the food was awesome. Probably do something similar this year. Its most probable that this may be moms last.

Like all the holidays. I really enjoy cooking for Thanksgiving, Christmas dinner, and Easter dinners with family.
Always loved setting up decorations for Christmas and Halloween when living in the city, but the last 34 years in the country makes that pleasure mute.

All my family is gone (except mom and Shes tool old to cook a big turkey and all) so I dont get into holidays anymore. They are just another day to me.

You need to find some good people to make a holiday tradition with. No good to not experience the holidays!

None of them except maybe Labor Day. Three day weekend and the weather's still good.

Our company sends out a feel-good memo around each holiday of the year - honoring veterans, MLK, etc...

Strangely silent around Labor Day lol.
