Find or re-discover. Occasionally I'll open a box or look somewhere and I'll re-discover something I haven't seen in years.

Today it was PMags. "Free Colorado" PMags from 2013 when the stupid "high capacity" magazine restriction was passed. MagPul was located in Colorado at the time and they sold these to get as many into the hands of Colorado residents as they could before the law went into effect. They were really inexpensive, too. I got my limit of 5. Found them in an ammo can I haven't opened in years, probably.

They're still in the wrap so it's a little hard to see...

I *thought* that they moved to Texas?? Did I just imagine that? Strong chance I did. 😄
Looks like both Wyoming and Texas, I had no idea.
“One of the country's largest producers of ammunition magazines for guns is leaving Colorado and moving operations to Wyoming and Texas because of new state laws that include restrictions on how many cartridges a magazine can hold. Erie, Colo. -based Magpul Industries Corp.Jan 2, 2014”

What’s amazing is that the existing 30 rounders were grandfathered in. Last summer we went into a gun store in Salida Co with 55 gallon drums of Magpul components to “repair” which was legal. You could also build a complete mag from repair “components”.
Store owner said no Leo in that area would enforce the 10 round BS. Very Conservative area.
We went to a public range between Salida and Buena Vista with 30 round mags shooting next to LEO. They never said anything about our mags.
