Isn't it kind of subjective? For example, my Dachshund is likely to live 12-14 years where as my dad's German Shepard is only likely to live 7-9 years. My point is, aren't "dog years" dependent on the breed?

And I don't know any 7 year olds that are capable of having children. Dog years are dependant on breed and have no mathematical correlation to human years.
