Forget veiled corporate ties, lets just flat out throw it in your face! I don't care what anyone says, there is an ethical question here and the answer is that the govenor should not be endorsing one business over another. If Mathis bros wants to make a special ornament,that is fine, but Fallin should not be endorsing it, period.
To be clear, every Governor has done this since Mathis Brother's started offering the ornaments.

I know. This is a gray area that really shouldn't be gray. By appearing in that commercial, the gov. is endorsing Mathis Bros., regardless of whether she was paid or not.
