me too. i posted a while back that the tea party and occupy movement were strange bed partners. they both want to change the status quo but can't come together on anything to save their lives. united we stand, divided we fall and it looks like it's gonna hurt.

edit: republicans and democrats do occasionally compromise......the republicans agree to increase spending and the democrats agree to cut taxes in the same bill. they have "compromised" to well over 15 trillion. "bread and circuses" for everyone!

That is because their goals are completely different. The Tea Party wants lower taxes and less government spending. The occupy movement wants someone to support them, preferably by taxing others.

it looks like the georgia secretary of state is not going to bat for obama. the crux of the case is not the authenticity of the birth certificate. it is the meaning of "natural born citizen". it is not clearly defined in the constitution.

What gets me is the noticeable LACK of mainstream news coverage. This is only the (potentially) BIGGEST news story in the history of the United States and they are completely ignoring it!
