you did not say hardtop or soft? the model is it a sport? are the wheels stock or aftermarket? type of lift budget or springs? AC or not.

I have a 2001 Sahara with auto, L6, ac, hardtop, aftermarket wheels, warn 8k winch, lights, 2 inch spring lift, and no rust. I would not take less than 10K for mine. However, a softtop sport model with everything the same but soft top and manual I would not give more than 7K.

Well equipped unmolested 2002 Wrangler X 4.0 with 90,000 miles. I would not take less then 10K for it. Historically their resale value has been high. Cheaper than a new sideXside.

I would say there are better deals to be had. The type of lift is important as some dealers try to sell them with body lifts.

before buying any jeep......if at all possible, find a friend that's a REAL jeep person and have them look at it too.Someone who Knows what to look for.

Some jeeps are really cared for...some are well.....not so much. And there are a few things inherant to the jeeps that need to be eyeballed.
