Well, I did a fair bit of the post hole digging when we were on the farm/ranch. We built temporary wire fences around green wheat fields and corn and milo stubble so we could winter cattle on that stuff.

New a guy that worked for Panhandle Eastern back in the day that could dig a post hole to the very length of the post hole digger's handles.
