When I resided in California, I had memberships to both. Tended to use Costco for the fresh and prepared foods and Sam's for 'hard goods'*. Costco's wine/beer/liquor selection was also superior to Sam's (I think the updated Okie law is due to be in effect in October). So, here in OKC at the moment, I'd have to go with Sam's for the fact of the multiple locations.

I checked out the liquor store at the Tulsa Costco last week. I didn't see much savings on the things I buy and know the price of.
On the other hand, the one in Wichita has sampling tables for wine and liquor on some weekends, and the big liquor store across the street does as well. Prices lower than Ok, but I suspect that is because of their taxes and laws.

I tend to be in Atlanta, Ga a couple times a year.....that's where you can stock up & save some money on the liquor!

I meant it sounded like a tea with a hot dog and raspberry flavor ;)

I read it this way too. Now, I can't get that taste out of my mouth's mind...

This just made my mouth water.

Hot dog and raspberry flavored tea made your mouth water? Dude, you probably need to see somebody for that.

I’ve lived in areas where Costco was dominant, and think of them kind of like Starbucks. Liberal and anti-gun, but the alternatives are less than satisfying.

Hot Dog Water unfiltered in a bottle:

Those wandering through a street festival in Vancouver, British Columbia, earlier this month stumbled upon a vendor hawking a product that one might expect to elicit far more cries of "yuck!" than raves.

The banner that read: "Hot Dog Water, unfiltered."

Instead of quickly turning and running in horror, dozens bought a bottle at the annual festival on June 17 -- about 60 bottles in all at $37.99 Canadian a pop, or about $28.57 in U.S. dollars.

We have both. Some items are cheaper at Sams. Bales of toilet paper and paper towels, for instance. I get my tobacco at Sam's. They also just refurbished the one here and now they have an actual butcher and sushi chef on site. The meat from the butcher counter is actually pretty good. We hated Sam's meats before. Costco is where we get most of our meats though. We usually buy whole beef tenderloins or whole rib roasts and cut them up ourselves.

They both have benefits for us. The wife knows what to get where so I leave everything up to her except the tobacco.
