I read that of that coach, wife, and daughter that died, there was another 16 year old daughter they left behind. Sad deal.

The whole thing is terrible. One of families on board was a baseball coach who's youngest daughter (I believe youngest) and wife were on board. They left behind a son and another daughter. So many families affected but the only thing people here want to scream about is the rape incident from 2003.

He had 4-5 daughters.

Kobe had 4 daughters. I believe the one that was with him was his oldest. I know he had a 7 month old and a 3 year old. Not sure how old the other one is though.

Last I heard, he also has a 16-year-old and the 13-year-old. It was the 13-year-old that died with him. They were on their way to a basketball tournament/game where Kobe was a coach of her team.

I just googled it . His oldest is 17 . The other 2 are 3 and 7 months. The one that was with him was his 13 year old daughter.

OSA when it's a Republican..... "InNOceNt until PRovEn gUilTy!!"
OSA when it's a celebrity...... "hE's A RaPIsT!!!" "wHaT AbOUt ThE 30 mARiNeS We Never PoSTeD aBouT??!!!"
You know, that is really false for your statement. We have roasted Republicans all the time. I just did today.
What really is important is the the fact that we lost Marines, Army, Airforce, Navy and Coast Guard in defense of our country and you mock it in your post. Why did you do that? Those we have lost are much more important than a single basketball player that died in any accident with a jaded history, yet the media is in tears over it while giving just a small mention to our military lives lost.
I know your going to attempt to justify it with some reasoning, but that is what really matters.
The common American is what makes this country operate. Your mechanic, your roofer, Your police officer, your fireman, your military that keeps you safe at home in your home are the salt of this earth and their lives are much more important than a basketball player.
Celebrity basketball players that would have played the same game for $100,000.00 a year gladly get a ton more money from that for whatever reason I don't understand except for the ignorant public that will pay $1000 a game to watch them and the TV money.
I'm sure you have your reasons, and these are mine.

Please stop with your drama and twisting my words.

I really don't care what the public does, media does, etc. I'm talking about OSA and what is posted here.

My point was, an inconsistency in remarks on this forum. A man dies and people are shouting that he's a rapist as if they know the facts and were there. Whereas, if we were talking bout an accused GOP member, I know damn well what' y'all would be saying. Again, he's dead, and according to many, answering to anything he needs to.

Now to the virtue signaling, whataboutism, and comparison of grief. People have some sort of chip on their shoulder if someone is successful around here. I see a guy that worked his arse off to get what he wanted and the tragic loss of some young people and their parents. Full stop. I don't see where anyone here was idolizing him. He made the most of it and made a ton of money doing it. People gladly volunteer their money to see him and others, and since they are adults and this is America, you're just going to have to accept that. Sorry but that's how some people like to be entertained.
My comments hint at the fact that I didn't see a post about the 30 marines that died and I don't understand the "whataboutism" in these situations. Namely, to consider someone's death tragic or upsetting is a personal issue, trying to shame someone into considering another's has no merit. How do you know how they perceive that one too? You see these types of comments from both sides of the political spectrum.

You can spin this into some sort of deranged argument that I don't respect the loss of anyone else, including and especially, those who have served. That's complete BS and I'm not sure where you got it. I think it's horrible that we lost 31 Service members. Where's the post? Where are the comments? Well....nobody did any checking it seems. That story is 15 years old. We in fact did not lose 30+ service members a few days ago, it was in 2005.

The simple answer is that he didn't. He mocked the hypocritical attitude that some perceive from what some people post here.
