Bella the dog passed and she was a very good dog

Our Yorkie, Bella, had to be let go this morning at 7 am. She was a very good dog. At 14, she was mostly blind and deft. She was ill the past week or so but the condition had worsen after two vet visits. The vet advised us to let her go but we just weren't able to do that. She was a gift from my wife's best friend who had passed from Cancer. The dog was to help my wife as we had just lost our child and Bella did help.
Bella had a bad seizure two days ago an

d yesterday a stroke. We stayed with her all night and this morning took her to the Vet. Our vet let my wife hold her and sit in the field with her for an hour or so when they gave her the shot to let her go.
She will be missed. I will miss my friend.

Sorry to hear brother, it's an empty spot for sure, we hope the 2 of you are fairing well.. Son had a pooch that was blind for a while because of doggy diabetes.. We recently got a pup and her name is Bella, quite the sassy girl.. Here's a pic for ya..

I'm sorry to hear it; dogs are as much a part of the family as any human being. Miss our old Weimaraner, he was the best. Took three years before I could get another dog (had another when we let him go, and still have her), but the new dogs have filled that void in my heart. Not replaced him, but created a new space. My condolences.

It is a tough call but as hard as it is on our heart strings, we know what we must do. We're never ready to lose them, but we know they are ready to go. That said, they leave the best part of themselves here with us in our memories and in our hearts. God bless them all.
