Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money. How come we never hear about welfare running out of money? What is interesting is the first group "worked for" their money, but the second didn't.

Sears, JC Penneys and some of the older retail names have not modernized. Remember Montgomery Ward? Best Buy is in big trouble. Online shopping will take over a large part of retail. I am surprised that outlet malls are as strong as they are. Personally, I despise going to any mall.
Social Security is a TAX on our work palced in a special account to be used as a retirement income because we are too stupid to save money ourselves and must be taken care of by the goobermint. SS is broke because of mismanagement by said goobermint.
WELFARE is a TAX on working people that is freely given to non-working people in return for votes and therefore cannot go broke as long as there are working people to tax and maintain a corrupt goobermint.

1984, Reagan and the GOP said Social Security would be bankrupt in 20 years....then they claimed the Baby Boomers would bankrupt Social Security. Welfare will ruin the country. The Govt will collapse if welfare and social security isnt fixed or scraped.
My whole life all ive ever heard is Social Security is a broken system and welafre will be our downfall.
