I say if he makes you happy, shoot him. Will he get bigger? Maybe. If you're asking age, yes, he does look 3.5.
I'll admit . . . I'm not sure I could actually let him pass if a shot presented itself. Especially with my current multi-year buck drought.

Killed my last buck on Thanksgiving day 2013. We were at my in-laws and my FIL drove me to the stand in his diesel feed truck around 6:30. Literally drove through the property to go watch the back side for deer himself. I was pretty certain I wouldn't see anything that morning.
Shot an 11 pt within an hour.
Ha! October 6th 2013 here. Public land archery. I'm pretty picky on my buck tags and the few opportunities I've had, just haven't come together.
I have one that looks just about like him. I could teeter either way but am hesitant to shoot him. That said, if he steps out while I’m sitting with my granddaughter this weekend, she will put the smack on him, and I will be tickled for her.
