Sitting on the river with my son. It hasn’t been productive, but we had a good visit.

Since deer hunting has been unproductive, I decided to see if I have better luck at ducks. It’s just me and Easton today, and we only ended up with one. Easton is a “rescue”, so I don’t really know his history. He loves guns and retrieving, but I don’t think he’s seen a duck before.

I went to put a skirt back on a deer stand to hunt this evening and replace the batteries in the mojo for in the morning, and I snuck up on a couple more.

Maybe some birds will show up this next week. Next Friday's highs supposed to be 0⁰-5⁰ here.

Set up a little further down river than yesterday, and evidently, the ducks liked it. Unfortunately, they all came in before legal shooting time, and only a bufflehead came in after.
Sometime before daylight, the mojo dropped a wing.

Easton got excited about some noisy low flying geese.
