We bought a new Pickup and a new RV within two weeks of each other. I should have got more than a kiss!
We just bought a new 3/4 ton diesel and a new travel trailer. Not looking forward to the government gift I’m about to receive.

Out this morning doing some Christmas shopping, and it seemed like everytime I was stopped at a red light, the vehicle in front of me had an expired paper tag. Don't they get stopped for those? The reason I ask...my lovely bride was driving her car in Norman recently when stopped because the decal on her tag was expired. That cost me $110 fine and then a penalty of another $100 the next day when I sheepishly had to go to the tag agent and get the decal I forgot to get a couple of months earlier.
And in the area I work, people actually put the plastic or tinted covers over their paper tags. Not unusual to see one thats 3-6 months out of date if you can even read it.
I got stopped by a woman OHP for having a plastic tinted cover on my metal tag. She was very nice and gave me a warning. This was 10 years ago.
In OK, I agree. Its amazing to me how many people buy a vehicle and don't realize they have to pay tag, tax, and title fees later.
