An old lady just swam from Cuba to Florida which is a hell of a long way.

At this point I think she is legit. But it would have helped if she had some of her critics - from what I understand, enemies, on board. These endurance swimmers are fiercely competitive and jealous of each other. Her acheivement may be disproved, and if it's not, there will always be speculation.

Yes, she is a record setter going back into her teens. It looks like she intentionally put on weight for this swim.
