Anyone else getting a flu shot ?

In my lifetime, I took one flu shot many years ago and got sick. Then went decades without any vaccinations until last year and got one then. I can't say I got sick from the shot, but I probably won't get any more. I've just had too many years of no shots and no flu cases to worry about it.

Haven't gotten a flu shot since it was required when a kid. Probably have gotten the flu once or twice but think taking precautions is better than the jab(plus I hate needles). No politics in me not taking it either.

I learned my lesson mixing shots when I was a younger drinking man. I'll wait a little while after I get my flu shot to get my covid booster.

retired from the pharmaceutical industry. not just meds but most ALL decisions I make like this I use the 'risk to benefit' question in my mind. If risk seems higher I leave it alone...... Last flu shot I had was for the Swine Flu back in the 70's I think. I'm still here and think I've actually only had the flu a couple of times in all these years

Have not had flu in last 20 years. Had flu shot last year & this year for first time in 20 years . Nothing but a sore arm from flu shot.
