That was our favorite place back in the 70s when I was a kid. Frank's Country Inn and Shotgun Sam's Pizza was our usual place too. Anybody remember them?

Shotgun Sam’s after every football game in JR High. Miss alot of those things. Also Crystals Pizza down from Casa Bonita

I never got to eat at Crystals. My dad said it looked expensive and flashy.

When I was a kid it was a special treat for our family to eat there a couple of times a year.

I remember Shotgun Sam's but not Frank's.

Franks would BBQ any and every dead animal flesh known to man. Ribs (both beef and pork), brisket, pulled pork, chicken, sausage, hot links, bologna- you name it. Their onion rings were incredible and I swear, that salad bar was a mile long.

I remember going to the Casa Bonita in Denver on Colfax Ave in the 70s. Way cool back then. Now, not so much...

Ate there once, and don't remember anything about the food, but the flag on the table was a first.

Crystals had the pizza lunch buffet. And cartoons playing on a big screen in the dining area.
