Saw an ad in the classifies about a CB radio.

I worked one of those to the death back in the day.

Anybody other than truck drivers use one of these today?

I have one in my beater pickup but use it mainly for the noaa weather bands.

I'm thinking about putting on in my other ride when I head to Colorado on a camping trip 4wd trip.

I have one in my pickup, sometimes I scan everything to just see what is going on but the main reason is for the weather info radio. I have satellite radio so if something major is going on storm wise I would be oblivious to it. It is set to go off like the weather alert radio's for the home, plus I can get a little traffic information when someone else is on and talking about accidents and slowdowns. No where near the number of people using it now with all the cell phone availability but it does what I need it to so I am happy.
