As much as I hate the time change I can use the extra hour to catch up on beauty sleep.
(Before you laugh, imagine what I would look like without it!)

We are SO GLAD that we got our work done in Alabama done prior to the time change. With cameras on the van facing forward and one facing backward, we had to really watch in the morning and later in the afternoon that the sun didn't "wash out" the images. If they washed out, we had to quit work for the day, even if it was as early as 3:30 or 4:00 pm.

If a road was pretty straight, one could work roads that were perpendicular to the direction of the sun's rays, but almost all roads had curves that could turn either the front or rear of the van towards the sun.
