Has anyone been to the Dog Trade in Sulphur Ok.?
A buddy of mine was telling me about it and said people at it sell everything you can imagine, antiques, tools, chickens, guns, just about everything.
He said the best time to go was the first Sunday after the first of the month (That would be this Sunday)(Only open on Sundays). Said it is packed with people selling and lots of people come through buying.
Said he has set up at it before (only cost $10.00 to set up/bring your own table.) and done pretty good selling stuff.
When he go's he gets there at 4:30 in the morning, sets up, it's all over with around 3:00.
Sounds like a neat place to go wandering and looking. Believe I'll go this Sunday and check it out.

Oh yeah! Grew up in Sulphur and the Dog trade is a staple activity. Everything is sold down there. Think large outdoor flea market. I've seen firearms, chickens, tools, canned goods, t-shirts, lumber, lawn tractors... pretty much anything you can think of... just don't expect anything "high society", lol

It is worth the $1 entry fee.

That must of been a while back. I believe he said it's $5.00 now, still cheap.

I was on a job in 2014 in wynnewood I would go there on Sunday mornings a lot of the guns were kind of high but you could buy just about anything there from farm animals to typical garage sale items

Right here
Have been several times, but it has been a couple of years. I live in Sulphur and its still going strong. Not so many guns any more, but you would be amazed at the number of gun experts you'll run into.

I think I will go and take a few pistolas and other stuff and set up, I have an 8 Ft table, might not sell any but it will be a way to kill a few hours and meet some people and BS.

Man, that sounds like a great place to look for antique desktop fans, which are my latest kick. Bit of a drive though to take a chance on finding something worthwhile at a fair price.
