I have never killed a coyote. ...not for a lack of trying but it just never comes together for me, until yesterday!
I was sitting in my treestand when I noticed this guy working the rocks on the ridge up above me. I got stood up and turned his way and started lip squeaking, didn't take long and here he comes. I drew my bow as soon as he turned and kept calling. He come straight in on high alert, stopping several times. By 20 yards he is staring into my eyes (creepy feeling) I have a face cover on so he can't see my lips moving. At 10 yards we have a stare off then he turns his head slight right and I thread the arrow through his chest. 15 yard run and he piled up. I was stoked about what played out and getting a deer killer out of the woods.
