I don't know the name of the place yet. My buddy sent me the pics and told me what happened. I'll definitely post the name of the place once I know. I would hate for this to happen to someone else.

Pinned and welded is too easy and all that needs done after the pin is installed its to cut the pin slightly below flush and weld

Looks like this dude got the entire end welded.
The shop needs to just say no to this process and do what he does himself, or he will get a really bad name.
I quit a couple automotive shops because they would not let me do things correctly.
They had 80% comebacks and I could have stopped 95% of it.. I did not work for them more than 2 weeks and I split, but I told them why for a week.

Holy crap! If it LOOKS that bad, imagine how terrible the quality of the weld is where you can't see. there is no way I'd attempt to shoot it.
