Yeah baggers and wet grass doesnt go together very well i bag 99% of all grass i cut due to small areas and not wanting to pick something up and breaking windows and plus i take it home and add to my garden as mulch.

This. Makes a good treat for the chicks and bunnies, too. They LOVE getting a bag dumped in the middle of their pen.

Wife and I drove to Wisconsin Sunday was raining so hard in Missouri we had to pull off the road for about half an hour, visibility was only about three feet. Stopped raining when we crossed over into Iowa, and picked back up when we crossed the Minnesota/Wisconsin line. Temperatures dropped into the low 40s Monday and Tuesday night. Now it is about 75° and sunny 🥳, but the frigging mosquitoes are insane!

Not in Oklahoma!
I alway pray you westerners get our excess rain, because you always need some and we always have too much.

But I was not praying you get it all!

Up till Sunday we had about 6 or 7 weeks of no rain.

We got some Sunday night (about 1/2") and Tuesday (about 7/8")!

I welcome the rain, but pray we stay out of the rain rut!

We haven’t got enough rain on our ponds to keep up with evaporation.
Driving down 412 to Tulsa today from Ponca, the further East we drove the more full the ponds were.
One benefit of the drought is that the fish in Kaw and Keystone lakes had a successful spawning season. Both are typically flooding this time of year.

Maybe bad for you mowing but it is great for farming wheat.
Actually not, we can't get it cut, it won't dry out like this lol. Any time during the last 9 months would have been great though :) This will be the latest we've ever started wheat harvest, late because of the drought to grow and germinate, late to cut because it's still, cool, cloudy and rainy every other day.

Don't get me wrong guys, I like rain. I just wish it was not raining just a little almost every day here. Give us some good rain a day or two every week and dry the rest of the week. Until I can get a riding mower it takes mowing some most days of the week for me to keep up. I can not go as long as I could before I ended up with heart problems and on O2.
